About America's Mountain

We've been to the peak 4 times, you can drive all the way to the peak, starting around mid May, You can take the cog-rail train  all year, you can even climb it by foot, I wouldn't know what part of the year that is possible.

As the pic shows the mountain is 14,110 ft. high. It's envigorating to walk around  3 miles in the air.

 It's 50% of the regular oxygen, takes a while to get used to it. They have the best hot chocolate and donuts at the gift shop.

They actually race cars up Pike's Peak, takes me close to an hour to drive up, they go up in approximately 15 minutes. You can see a video of "The Race To The Clouds" at:
